Parks Internships

interns 2006

The Collegiate Internship Program is designed to provide realistic work experience in park management and recreation to qualified college students who anticipate careers in these areas. Other fields of study are also available. Interns will be assigned to work with Montgomery County Department of Parks staff on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week) and will be compensated.
NOTE: Collegiate Internship Brochure for next year will be available in February 2009.

Applications Instructions

  • Students must submit an M-NCPPC employment application to be considered for employment.
  • Students must submit a transcript of their records. An unofficial transcipt is acceptable.
  • Students must submit a personal statement indicating goals and aspirations that may be enhanced by participation in the program. Personal statements must be at least one page long.

NOTE: Personal statement must accompany applications. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
