Montgomery Parks owns and operates five distinctive facilities ideal for virtually any business or social gathering.

Choose from the Georgian elegance of Woodlawn Manor, the picturesque panoramas of Brookside Gardens, the rustic charm of Seneca Lodge, or the flexibility and overnight convenience of Rockwood Manor.

Each facility is surrounded by some of Montgomery County's most beautiful parkland yet easily accessible by car, with ample on-site parking available. Plus, flexible layouts afford a variety of options for indoor or outdoor events for anywhere from 3 to 300 people.

All of the facilities are available throughout the year, seven days a week, at reasonable rates that fit just about any budget.

Special Events & Activities Women's Outdoor Weekend Fall 2008

Thanks to the 66 fabulous women who joined us
for this year's Women's Outdoor Weekend at Rockwood Manor!

Despite rain, high winds, and power outages, we all managed to have a great time! After packing the yoga and container gardening classes Saturday morning, we improvised Saturday afternnon by painting birdhouses (thank you, Theresa from the Rockville Izaak Walton League!), joining in an impromptu kick-boxing class led by one of the participants, and just relaxing. And the "Project WOW!" fashion design and fashion show Saturday night had to be seen to be believed (it was FIERCE!). Sunday dawned bright and shiny, and we were able to rock climb, ride horses, and kayak.

We'll be doing another weekend next year (and maybe...sooner?), as well as hosting a variety of exciting events and activities at Rockwood for the whole family. So watch this space!
